Cocobutter is a compilation album full of Ciat-Lonbarde exclusive performances by friends of The Deerhorn podcast.

Each artist was given this strict set of guidelines:

- 5 minutes max track length

- All sounds MUST come from a Ciat-Lonbarde source. No samples or non Ciat-Lonbarde external synths.

- Any looping MUST be done with a Cocoquantus. No external loopers or SOS delays.

- Recording must be live to stereo with no overdubs.

- Post processing via reverb, delay, eq, distortion, compression etc. is fine.

These guidelines were put in place to help give the album a cohesion. It was interesting to watch each artist have their personal voice come through while the sound of Ciat-Lonbarde instruments helped glue the album together.

All profits from this compilation album will go towards making a Cocobutter volume 2 happen. Consider this the "Patreon" for The Deerhorn.
